John Wayne and Henry Fonda created a cult for Western Hollywood Movies. Even the current generation loves to watch Cowboys holding pistols on the horses wandering around Grand Canyon. We , ordinary citizens , cannot go to canyons and possibly cannot survive in such tough conditions. However, once we watch western movies, we feel ourselves a part of such journey and mission. The film career of John Wayne was more or less dependent on movies around canyons. The common observations of all the movies were :

The Bells of St. Mary's

Padries, priests and nuns are ordinary people like us. They also love , hate , compete , egoist etc etc. " The bells of St. Mary's " is also a story of ego, confusion and patience between a Christian priest and Nun. "The Bells of St. Mary's" is the sequel of  "Going my Way" which was a super hit movie of Hollywood. In both the movies the main character's role was played by Bing Crosby (Character's name was Father Chuck O' Malley). Bing Crosby shew courage by accepting the lead role of a priest in Going my Way and it was not hard for him to reprise the same role in the sequel. However, the "Spellbound" Star Ingrid Bergman shown courage by playing the role of Sister Mary Benedict, a nun. Both the characters played the role in the best ways. Obviously the role of Bing Crosby was given more importance, but Ingrid Bergman was superb. Father O'Malley is now more matured and understand surrounding world , however Mary Benedict had still charm for the ordinary human life. She convinced a young girl to forget about becoming a nun unless she sees the world fully. The manner in which she expressed the charm of a prom, being looked beautiful ... it means that nuns have to kill their emotions towards materialistic world. She also taught fighting to a young boy so that he can fight with another bad boy. In fight it was shown that she took side of the boy whom he taught fighting. She convinced a millionaire to donate a building for the good works of church. A brief tussle was shown between she and her senior Father O' Malley but at last O' Malley removed all confusions and it went for the happy ending.


There could be third serial. But The Bell's of St. Mary's was not a big hit like Going My Way otherwise certainly there would be another sequel.


its a nice movie and all materialistic person may also enjoy the same. Although more than 60 years have elapsed, the movie is still alive and worthy to watch

Initials : J B

In Bourne movie series the main character's name is "Jason Bourne" while his original name in the movie series is David Webb. Jason Bourne is handsome, sentimentalist, muscular, solid, robust, intelligent just like James Bond. I was thinking that Robert Ludlum was inspired by James Bond hence he used the same initial as " J B". It could be the truth but when I saw a classic movie "Spellbound" released in mid 1940s , my perception changed a bit and there is a possibility that the initial J B was inspired by Spellbound starred by Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman and directed by none other than Alfred Hitchcock. In Spellbound , Gregory Peck played the role of Dr. Anthony Edwardes but his real name was " John Ballantyne " and in a particular scene he was assumed to be John Brown i.e." J B ". John Ballentyne was also suffering from Amnesia so as Jason Bourne in Bourne Series.

LA ZONA - The Movie

La Zona is a Mexican Spanish thriller movie based on social issues of Mexico. But the nature of social parity indicated in the movie is globally same. How law is different for a rich man and a poor man, it’s clearly visible

La Zona is a part of city which is surrounded by high security and walls. The denizens are rich who live lavish life, own a society with its own internal rules, sophisticated infra-structure and obtained privileged / autonomous status by local laws. Each and every part of the colony is under surveillance by skilled security guards

In a stormy night, a big advertising hoarding collapsed on one of the walls of La Zona which gave path to three young boys to enter in to La Zona for theft but two of them were shooted by inhabitants but one of the intruders (naming Miguel) could manage to run away within the boundary of La Zona. In fire shooting, one of the security guard was also killed by an old man resident who wanted to confess but moved back by his wife and governing committee members of La Zona and society members hide everything from police and gave a lot of money to the wife of deceased security guard who was buried in the grave yard of La Zona by which the wife could get insurance claim. Police started to investigate and started to get clues that three persons are missing and they found dead bodies of the two but they did not get any clue of Miguel. Miguel managed to enter in to the basement of a society member whose boy (Alejandro) is a teenager and interacted with Miguel. Alejandro expressed sympathy towards Miguel and made a video film to publicise innocence of Miguel  that he did not kill an old woman of La Zona rather it was killed by the other two boys who were killed during escape.  Police came with warrant and proof but the senior police officer came with an offer to cover up the entire case against a huge sum. Society members agreed upon the same although some members intended to tell truth to the police. At last Miguel was caught by father of Alejandro and bitten till death by La Zona members. Miguel tried to take help from police but he was not given any help as it could expose police in covering up the case. Father of Alejandro saw the video by which he came to know that Miguel was innocent and he was not a guilty left him left him with deep shame and remorse for doing such heinous work.

At last, Alejandro managed to take the body of Miguel from the garbage and went outside the city’s grave yard , paid money to the person digging graveyards to bury Miguel. Alejandro informed at the phone number mentioned on the hand of Miguel that Miguel was no more. The phone was picked up by girl friend of Miguel who was bitten brutally by police which changed her face and said that she did not know Miguel. The mother of Miguel did not get justice till last.

The movie is a slap on social democracy. In every part of the world , police and law appears to help rich and wealthy men and treating poor as the weight on the earth. Each and every part of the movie is interesting and will not let audience to leave the seat. Acting of Alejandro, his parents and Carlos are unparallel.

Deadpool - A wasted effort

I don't understand , what does a director and producer of a movie like "Deadpool" think ... ? Is it a good movie or people would love this ?? My Saturday, a holiday , money and time all wasted watching this movie. Neither story, acting, anything was good in the movie. Scenes , fighting all were old fashioned and trying to catch the idea of mutants from X Men. Further, at the end of the movie the director sowed the seed of a probable sequel.. will anybody go to see the sequel ? Full of silly comedy and slangs...


A cancer patient who is going to death... was offered by an agent to cure him. He was converted in to mutant in a dirty non scientific dark warehouse.... I don't know how science worked to make a person as mutant. The fight sequence were not much effective. The villain had super power but killed by a bullet in head.. could not understand. He could not be killed by a sword , accidents , tough fighting's... but by a bullet in head he was killed. Directors of Hollywood are losing plot and they do not have ideas to create light or good action movie... all are taking help of sci fi or super natural heroes..


Don't waste money.. better meet a friend and spend your time rather than watching Deadpool
