In Bourne movie series the main character's name is "Jason Bourne" while his original name in the movie series is David Webb. Jason Bourne is handsome, sentimentalist, muscular, solid, robust, intelligent just like James Bond. I was thinking that Robert Ludlum was inspired by James Bond hence he used the same initial as " J B". It could be the truth but when I saw a classic movie "Spellbound" released in mid 1940s , my perception changed a bit and there is a possibility that the initial J B was inspired by Spellbound starred by Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman and directed by none other than Alfred Hitchcock. In Spellbound , Gregory Peck played the role of Dr. Anthony Edwardes but his real name was " John Ballantyne " and in a particular scene he was assumed to be John Brown i.e." J B ". John Ballentyne was also suffering from Amnesia so as Jason Bourne in Bourne Series.
